Tandoori BBQ rainbow beef salad

Tandoor morni’s yet another mouth watering and healthy dish that is prepared in tandoor oven or tandoori clay oven is tandoori BBQ rainbow beef salad. This healthy salad has a wonderful summer flavor thanks to the barbecued steak that is used as the main ingredient. It pairs incredibly well with our tart soy dressing. Let’s check out how to prepare this delicious dish.


  • Sirloin steaks, 2 pc,250 g each
  • Ginger , 1 small piece
  • Squeezed Lime ,2 pc 
  • Garlic clove, 1pc
  • Sesame oil, 20 ml
  • Low-sodium soy sauce,1 tablespoon
  • Finely chopped red chilies, 2 pc
  • Little Gem greens ,4 pc
  • 12 radishes, thinly sliced;
  •  3 carrots, peeled and finely sliced
  • ½ Cucumber, peeled and cut into ribbons.
  • 3 spring onions
  • Sliced half a cup of mixed sesame seeds
  • One large, ripe avocado.



To bring the steak to room temperature before cooking, take it out of the fridge one hour beforehand. Make the salad dressing by mixing the ginger, garlic, lime juice, oil, soy, and finely sliced chilies in a bowl just before cooking.


Place the steaks on the grill skewer using tandoor oven or tandoori clay oven. Cook for 3 minutes on one side, then flip the skewer and cook for another 3 minutes. After cooking, cover the meat and let it sit for five minutes.

Step 3

On a sharing plate, place the lettuce leaves, radishes, carrots, cucumbers, spring onions, and avocado. Lay thin slices of the steak that have been cut against the grain on top of the salad. Sprinkle the dressing and any remaining juices on top. Sesame seeds and thinly sliced red chili are used as garnish.
